Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant closed its 15-year-old location on the southwest corner of Arizona and Ocotillo in south Chandler on Sunday.
The Geneva, N.Y.-based chain now has three remaining locations in the East Valley – University and Gilbert in north Mesa, Warner and McClintock in Tempe, and Arizona Mills in Tempe.
Phoenix-based Manuel’s Mexican Restaurant & Cantina will take over the Chandler building for its eighth Valley restaurant. It’s expected to open this summer.
