Rancho La Candelaria Mexican Food & Oaxacan Food, a well-reviewed restaurant on the southeast corner of Baseline and 35th Avenue in southwest Phoenix, was destroyed by fire early Saturday morning.
The restaurant’s two food trucks also were lost in the blaze, which started near the back of the building. No injuries were reported.
The restaurant had an average rating of 4.5 stars on Yelp. Owner Candelaria Lopez says she doesn’t have insurance and isn’t sure if she’ll be able to rebuild.
