Oregano’s to launch takeout-only concept in Tempe next month

Oregano’s, one of the Valley’s most popular locally born restaurant concepts, is launching a takeout-only concept in Tempe next month.

Oregano’s Takeout Kitchen will debut Wednesday, June 2, near the southeast corner of University and 52nd Street.

It will offer Oregano’s full menu of Chicago-style pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, and salads – but there will be no tables or bar service.

Oregano’s Takeout Kitchen will offer lunch combos like its signature two-topping Heckuva Slice and a beverage for $6.29.

“This location has been in the works for some time as we’ve seen demand grow for being able to eat our food wherever our guests are,” says Mark Russell, who founded Oregano’s in Scottsdale in 1994.

Oregano’s currently has 21 restaurants in Arizona and two in Colorado.
