Renata’s Hearth, a new restaurant with charred and smoked dishes featuring Central and South American-inspired flavors, has opened at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix.
Chef Jesus Figueroa Ortega, who was sous chef at Tarbell’s in Phoenix and Café Monarch in Scottsdale, has created a menu of individual and family-style meals.
The former include pozole blanco ($26), wagyu New York steak ($58), and grilled king salmon ($30).
The latter include mesquite-smoked whole jidori chicken ($55) and crispy slow-cooked pork belly roast ($46).
Renata’s Hearth is open 5-10 p.m. nightly.
