After a delay of more than a year due to the covid-19 pandemic, IHOP finally will launch its fast-casual spinoff, Flip’d by IHOP, in July.
Ordering at a counter or kiosk, diners can choose from pancake bowls, customizable egg sandwiches, burritos, salads, and sandwiches.
The focus will be on to-go customers and delivery with limited seating in the restaurants.
Originally planned for just busy downtown areas, the concept now will be rolled out in suburban areas and convenience stores as well.
The first Flip’d will open in New York City, followed by others in Ohio and Kansas.
