Cupbop, a Utah-based chain of Korean-BBQ-in-a-cup eateries, has opened its first Arizona location at Desert Ridge Marketplace in northeast Phoenix.
It takes over the former Rubio’s Coastal Grill space, near Café Zupas, in The District zone of the shopping center.
Cupbob offers nine entrees, including Korean BBQ beef, pork, chicken, and tofu.
All cups come with rice (bop means ‘‘steamed rice’’ in Korean), sweet potato noodles, and cabbage.
Cupbob is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Closed Sundays.
