A new sports bar and grill hopes to open in northeast Mesa in time for the NBA Finals.
Starz American Bar & Grill is wrapping up construction on the northwest corner of Lindsay and University.
The 5,400-square-foot space previously was home to Fat Willy’s Family Sports Grill and later Sharky’s Tacos & Tequila.
Starz is planning to open July 1.
