Tiger Sugar, a worldwide chain of Taiwanese dessert shops best-known for its brown sugar boba milk, will make its Arizona debut in Mesa.
It will be located in the Safeway shopping center on the northeast corner of Dobson and Main.
Its addictive signature drink features tapioca balls cooked in caramelized brown-sugar syrup and served in plain cold milk.
The striped drinks have become a viral sensation on Instagram and other social media platforms.
Tiger Sugar debuted in Taiwan in 2017 and entered the U.S. market in 2019. Currently, the nearest locations to Arizona are in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
The Mesa location is scheduled to open in the last quarter of this year.
