Matcha Grove, a small cafe offering matcha-based drinks and gluten-free baked goods, has opened on the southeast corner of McQueen and Elliot in Gilbert.
It takes over the strip-mall space formerly home to Muesliikon Green Cafe, which closed earlier this year.
Owner Rocio Sheyko (pictured) uses ceremonial-grade matcha from Uji, Japan.
The food menu includes items like waffles and avocado toast. Made-from-scratch baked goods are 100% gluten-free and refined sugar-free.
Hours are 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. daily.
