Coming soon: Cowboy-themed Lone Spur Cafe in Mesa & Queen Creek

Lone Spur Cafe, a small chain of cowboy-themed breakfast-and-lunch restaurants that began in Prescott in 2005, will open its seventh and eighth locations in Mesa and Queen Creek this fall.

The food: Hearty breakfast options include steak and eggs, cowboy grits, brisket Benedict, and a Cowboy Meat Lover’s Skillet. Lunch specialities include a Southwest Burger and a Bacon Steak.

Mesa location: On the northeast corner of Stapley and Baseline in Mesa.

Queen Creek location: The former Queen Creek Cafe building on the southwest corner of Ellsworth and Ocotillo.

Other locations: Currently, Scottsdale, Prescott, Flagstaff, and three in southwest Colorado. Others in the works in Pinetop and Santa Fe, N.M.
