Great news for smokehouse fans: 3-year-old Caldwell County BBQ in southeast Gilbert – considered by many to serve the best barbecue in the East Valley – is opening a second location at the Queen Creek Botanical Gardens near the northwest corner of Ellsworth and Riggs.
The food: Smoked prime brisket, ribs, pulled pork, sausage links, and turkey breast with sides of lemon poppyseed cole slaw, corn casserole, pinto beans, potato salad, and macaroni and cheese
The space: Caldwell County will join several other businesses at the gardens’ new restaurant, market, and juice bar building scheduled to open in the fall of 2022.
