Serrano’s Mexican Restaurants will launch a new fast-casual concept called Pronto this fall in the south Tempe space that formerly housed one of its sit-down restaurants.
The food: Build-your-own combos featuring Sonoran-style burritos, tacos, nachos, salads, and more.
The space: The Serrano’s on the southwest corner of Rural and Guadalupe – one of five sit-down restaurants – was closed in November 2020 for remodeling.
The quote: “We’ve learned a lot over the past two years and we know that fast-casual concepts have experienced significant recent growth,” says Serrano’s CEO Ric Serrano.
