La Ristra New Mexican Kitchen in Gilbert will hold its ninth annual Hatch Chile Sale starting at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10. and Saturday, Sept. 11. All chiles must be preordered.
The party: Chiles will be roasted in La Ristra’s parking lot. There also will be a tap takeover with New Mexico’s Santa Fe Brewing.
Prices: Chiles, available in medium, hot, and extra hot, are $50 per sack or $90 for two sacks. Sacks weigh 40 pounds before roasting and 20-30 pounds after.
