Phoenix-based Manuel’s Mexican Restaurant & Cantina opened its eighth Valley restaurant today on the southwest corner of Arizona and Ocotillo in south Chandler.
The building: Formerly home to Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant, which closed in May.
The food: House specialities include seafood enchiladas, carne machaca, Baja fish tacos, and carne a la tampiqueña (marinated skirt steak).
Hours: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
