Fryd Bird, a new fast-casual concept specializing in fried chicken, has opened on the northeast corner of Alma School and Southern in west Mesa.
The food: Fried chicken, chicken wings, chicken sandwiches, and even ‘‘chickatsu’’ rice with a choice of seven house sauces. Sides include mashed potatoes, cole slaw, waffle fries, and mac and cheese.
