Salt Tacos y Tequila, a 5-year-old modern Mexican restaurant and bar at Westgate in Glendale, has applied for a liquor license for a second location at The Shops at Norterra on the northeast corner of the I-10 and Happy Valley in north Phoenix.
The food: Tacos and burritos dominate Salt’s menu, while the bar offers more than 150 kinds of tequila.
Gilbert location: Salt is opening a third location in the former Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que space at SanTan Village in Gilbert.
Tentative openings: Not yet announced.
