Chicago-based Lou Malnati’s has launched its first East Valley location – offering takeout and delivery only – at Dana Park on the northwest corner of Val Vista and Baseline in Mesa.
The food: Chicago-style deep-dish and thin crust pizzas, pasta dishes, and sandwiches. Frozen pizzas also are available.
The history: The iconic Chicago chain made its Arizona debut in May 2016 with a sit-down restaurant on the northeast corner of Central and Camelback in Phoenix. It now has another sit-down location in north Scottsdale as well as takeout-delivery locations in Arcadia and Glendale.
Hours: 4-10 p.m.Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.
