Air Guitar, a new concept that promises ‘‘to redefine the traditional convenience store by transforming a grab-and-go stop into a meaningful part of your day,’’ opens at 5 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, on the northwest corner of Higley and Ray in Gilbert.

On the menu: A full-service coffee bar, ice cream by the scoop or cone, freshly made pizza slices, fine wines, craft beers by the can, slushies, kombucha, non-alcoholic beverages, and 50 different grab-and-go meals made fresh daily by M Culinary Concepts.

The building: A 5,500 square-foot interior – with open-air coolers and floor-to-ceiling glass walls – bookended by a pair of patios, all under a canopy roof.

Who’s behind it? Craig and Kris DeMarco, founders of Postino and other Upward Projects concepts, and Eric and Elissa Seitz of Bro Retail Group.

Hours: 5 a.m.-11 p.m. daily.
