Coming soon: Ghost Donkey on Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix

By Jess Harter Wednesday, September 15, 2021

Ghost Donkey, a mezcal and tequila bar that debuted in New York City in 2016, will take over a portion of the never-opened Punch Bowl Social space on Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix.

The history: Punch Bowl Social, a Denver-based chain of restaurant-entertainment venues featuring arcade games and karaoke, never opened due to the covid-19 pandemic.

Now: Ghost Donkey, which opened locations in Las Vegas (2018) and Denver (2021), will move into a portion of the building on the northeast corner of Second Street and Garfield. It will be joined by two yet-to-be-announced food and drink concepts – Palma and Châm Pang Lanes.

The menu: Four kinds of nachos (wild mushroom, truffle. mole chicken, and chorizo) along with a half-down small bites.

Projected opening: Late 2021.
