Arkansas-based fast-food chain Slim Chickens is taking another stab at the Arizona market after reaching an agreement to open 32 locations in this state.
The menu: Chicken sandwiches, wraps, tenders, and wings. Sides include fries, fried okra, fried pickles, and fried mushrooms. Desserts are served in Mason jars.
Valley history: Slim Chickens made its Arizona debut in Gilbert in 2016 and added a Chandler location in 2017. Both were closed by June 2019.
New locations: Franchise company Barnett Management plans to open two to three locations per year throughout Arizona. It’s looking for its first site in the West Valley to open in late 2022.
