The Idaho-based Crave Hospitality Group is building a 15,000-square-foot collective of virtual kitchens, otherwise known as ghost kitchens, on the southwest corner of Cooper and Yeager just north of Chandler Municipal Airport.
The concept: Several restaurant concepts are housed in one building and often share kitchen facilities, which saves costs. The focus is on delivery and pickup, although the Crave building will have some indoor and outdoor seating.
The food: The specific concepts have not been identified.
The history: Similar collectives already have opened in Scottsdale (Kitchen United Mix) and Tempe (Tempe Food Court).
Projected Chandler opening: Spring 2022.
