Uncle Bear’s brewer hospitalized with mysterious illness

The Valley’s craft beer community is rallying around Uncle Bear’s head brewer Andrew Ortega, who’s been hospitalized with a scary illness that doctors haven’t been able to identify. A GoFundMe campaign for him, his wife, and his three kids has been launched here, and Uncle Bear’s will host a fundraiser Sunday, March 6. Look for updates on Ortega here.
