La Fonda Mexican Restaurant & Cantina, a Tempe mainstay for 57 years that closed at McClintock and Baseline in November, has soft-opened its new home – the former La Hacienda space on the southwest corner of Chandler and Dobson in Chandler – for patio dining (limited seating) or takeout only.
