The Genuine, a new flagship concept for the Valley-based Genuine Concepts restaurant group, debuts at 11 a.m. Thursday in the former The Vig Uptown space on the northeast corner of 16th Street and Bethany Home in Phoenix. The menu spotlights wood-fired dishes, including roasted chicken, pizzas, and pastas. Other Genuine Concepts brands are The Vig, The Little Woody, The Womack, Ladera Taverna y Cocina, The McMillan, and Campo Italian Bistro & Bar.
