Contemporary SW eatery Tia Carmen opens at Desert Ridge Resort

Tia Carmen, a contemporary Southwestern restaurant from celebrity chef Angelo Sosa, has opened at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa near the northeast corner of Tatum and Deer Valley in northeast Phoenix. It replaces the resort’s former Stonegrill. Sosa is best-known for appearing in three seasons of Bravo’s ‘‘Top Chef.’’ (Pictured: Tuna crudo with chilled corn coconut broth accented with jicama and garnished with dill.)
