S. Maranto’s Italian Bar & Market closes after 6 months in north Scottsdale

S. Maranto’s Italian Bar & Market, an Italian grocery and bar that served house-made pastas and artisan sandwiches, has closed after just six months on the southwest corner of Scottsdale and the 101 in north Scottsdale. ‘‘Unfortunately, our concept was never able to catch fire as a sustainable business,’’ the owner announced on social media.
