Ex-My Wine Cellar owner opens Scottsdale tasting room & retail shop

The Wine Collective of Scottsdale, a downtown tasting room and retail shop showcasing premium Arizona wines, has opened on the northwest corner of Scottsdale and First Avenue. ‘‘I wanted a tasting room that was virtually 100 percent Arizona wines,’’ says owner Zoya Vora-Shah (pictured), who sold her previous wine bar, My Wine Cellar (now known as The Cellar) in Ahwatukee, in 2016. Her only selections not from Arizona are the acclaimed sparkling wines from Gruet in New Mexico. Wines by the glass start at $8, and most bottles retail in the $30s.
