Vero Chicago Pizza, former known as Buddyz Chicago Pizzeria before rebranding itself in 2020, finally is opening its much-delayed fifth East Valley location behind AutoZone on the southwest corner of Gilbert and Chandler Heights in south Chandler. The restaurant, originally scheduled to launch last summer, will open for takeout only from 4-9 p.m. beginning Thursday. It plans to open for dine-in customers next Friday, June 17.
