Newly renamed Six Byrd Cider Co., which launched in Tempe in 2019 as Crush Craft Cider Co., is finally opening its much-delayed first taproom next month on the southeast corner of Indian School and 36th Street in Phoenix’s Arcadia Lite neighborhood. The cidery, which makes 60 different varieties of cider, is changing its name due to trademark issues. It also is doubling the space of its Tempe production facility, which will quadruple its output. The taproom, which will serve food, had its original opening plans scuttled by the covid pandemic.
