Cafe Balkan brings southeastern European cuisine to north Phoenix

Cafe Balkan, which bills itself as an ‘‘authentic European kitchen,’’ has opened in the former Southern Delights space near the northeast corner of Cave Creek and Rose Garden in north Phoenix. Entrees include sarma (stuffed cabbage rolls, pictured), goulash, and lamb shank. There’s also a small market.
