The Desmond, an Italian bistro and bar serving Neapolitan-style pizzas and sandwiches on house-baked bread, has opened next to Kettle Black on the northeast corner of First Street and Washington in downtown Phoenix. Besides pizzas and sandwiches, there are dinner entrees such as a New York strip steak, grilled halibut, and a bone-in pork chop. Open for lunch and dinner daily.
