Piefection, an independent pie shop with locations in northeast Mesa and central Scottsdale, plans to open a third location this fall on the northwest corner of Chandler and Dobson in Chandler. Its menu includes more than 30 varieties of traditional pies, plus cheesecake pies and savory pot pies. The Chandler location is expected to open in November, but Piefection will have a ‘‘pop-up’’ pie shop at the Blackbird Music store next door beginning July 1.
