Prescott Brewing locked out, landlord claims non-payment of rent

If you’re among the many Valley residents heading to Prescott for the Fourth of July weekend, take note: Popular downtown hangout Prescott Brewing, one of Arizona’s oldest craft breweries, has closed. The brew pub’s doors on Gurley Street have been locked for more than a week, and a notice indicates the landlord has seized the property for non-payment of rent. Prescott Brewing, which has won numerous awards for its beers, opened in 1994.
