Angie’s Lobster drive-through concept buys its own Maine lobster wharf

By Jess Harter Monday, July 11, 2022

Angie’s Lobster, the new drive-through concept from the founders of Salad & Go, isn’t scheduled to open its first construction-delayed bricks-and-mortar location until next month, but already has found a novel way to lower its food costs. The company, which has been previewing its $9.99 lobster meals with a food truck, has acquired a wharf on Maine’s Bailey Island and started its own lobster processing operation. Angie’s Lobster is set to open its first location on the northeast corner of Guadalupe and Signal Butte in east Mesa in August, followed by others in Tempe and Phoenix in September.
