Sonson’s Pasty Company, the mother-and-daughter bakery that debuted in northeast Mesa in 2018, is opening a second location on the northeast corner of McQueen and Warner in Gilbert. Owner Julie Groom and her mother, Sonia ‘‘Sonson’’ Williams, worked at a bakery in Cornwall, England, for eight years. They offer more than a dozen varieties of the British pocket sandwiches, plus sausage rolls.
