Gilbert-based Arizona Wilderness Brewing will test out a new brunch menu at its downtown Phoenix beer garden from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday:
- Chicken & Waffles: Oatman Farms White Sonora Wheat buttermilk waffles, chicken, whipped honey butter, Arizona microgreens, and maple syrup ($17.50, pictured);
- Avocado Toast: Noble Bakery multigrain wheat bread, avocado spread, feta, roasted pepitas, Arizona microgreens, pickled watermelon radish, everything spice, ($9, add egg for $3)
- Chile Relleno: Poblano chiles, white cheddar, beef chorizo, avocado creme, roasted tomatillo salsa, and mixed greens ($16);
- French Toast: Noble Bakery challah bread, lemon ricotta, candied pecan, fresh fruit, black and blue jam, powdered sugar, and maple syrup ($16);
- Greens & Grain: White Sonora wheat berries, roasted kale, sweet potato, avocado, roasted garbanzo beans, cherry tomatoes, pickled watermelon radish, Arizona microgreens, egg, everything spice, and lemon poppy seed vinaigrette ($13).
After any necessary tweaks, the brunch menu also will be available at the Gilbert location this fall.
