Anoche Cantina, the first Arizona concept from Bellevue-Wash.-based Ascend Hospitality Group, has opened in the former El Hefe space on the southwest corner of Mill Avenue and Sixth Street in downtown Tempe.
What: A Latin-inspired modern cantina with a build-your-own margarita bar. The menu features salads, tacos, burritos, taquitos, and bowls.
The name: Anoche means “last night” in Spanish.
Did you know? Anoche’s next-door sibling concept, upscale sports bar and nightlife concept Six40rty, will open in September.
Open: 3 p.m.-2 a.m. Monday, 11 a.m.- 2 a.m. Tuesday-Sunday.
