Albuquerque-based Little Anita’s makes Arizona debut in Chandler

The space: The former Juan Jaime’s Tacos & Tequila near the northeast corner of the 101 and Chandler Boulevard. Juan Jaime’s closed in May.

The menu: Mexican and New Mexican cuisine, including tacos, burritos, burgers, and seafood. But the signature menu items are the sopapillas.

The chain: Little Anita’s was launched in Albuquerque in 1976 and has nine locations in New Mexico and four in Colorado.

Did you know? Little Anita’s is opening a second Valley location later this year near 16th Street and Thomas in Phoenix.

Hours: 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
