Korean-Japanese eatery Gogi opens 2nd location, Gogi&, in Ahwatukee

By Jess Harter Wednesday, August 31, 2022

The space: Part of the former Rubio’s strip-mall space next to the AMC Ahwatukee 24 theaters on the southwest corner of I-10 and Ray.

The menu: Unlike the original Gogi, which opened in Chandler in 2014, Gogi& has an expanded menu of six flavors of Korean fried chicken (pictured), bento boxes, noodle dishes, bibimbap, fried rice, and various entrees, but it doesn’t offer sushi.

Did you know? Gogi owner Euijong Chung’s sister, Jin Chung, and niece, Sara Pyo, own Korean dessert shop Snowtime, which has locations next to both Gogis.

Hours: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
