Houston’s in Tempe is latest hot chicken chain to make Arizona debut

Las Vegas-based Houston’s Hot Chicken, the latest in a growing number of Nashville hot chicken eateries flooding into the Valley, has made its Arizona debut on the southeast corner of University and Rural in Tempe.

The space: It takes over the building formerly home to Burger Fi, which closed in May.

The menu: Chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, chicken and waffles, and chicken-topped salads.

Did you know? Houston’s is named for Houston Crosta, who co-founded the concept in August 2021.

Open: 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 10:30 a.m.-midnight Friday-Saturday.
