Belly Kitchen & Bar, a Southeast Asian restaurant that opened in Phoenix’s Melrose District in 2020, officially launches its second location today at Epicenter at Agritopia in Gilbert.
The space: Epicenter is a new mixed-use development at Agritopia on the northwest corner of Higley and Ray.
The menu: Japanese, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes. Specialties include jackfruit and mustard green fried rice, pork belly and egg claypot, and Old Bay-spiked crab crepes.
The team: Belly was the first concept from the Instrumental Hospitality Group led by former Welcome Diner chef Michael Babcock.
Open: 5-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 5 p.m.-midnight Friday-Saturday.
