Ghost Ship, a new pirate-themed bar from downtown Phoenix club empresario Steven Rogers, will have its soft opening at 5 p.m. today inside The Grand on the southwest corner of Central and McKinley.
The space: Located in one of The Grand’s three themed rooms, the 60-seat Ghost Ship uses holographic tech and sound technology built into the seating so guests feel they are on a marooned galleon.
The menu: The cocktail menu includes new takes on tiki classics like the Zombie and an assortment of gin and whisky concoctions. The food menu features sharable bar bites from flatbreads to pub boards.
Reservations: Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are highly recommended and can be booked through the website. (Only walk-ins will be accepted for this weekend’s soft opening. Reservations will start Wednesday, Sept. 21.)
Open: 5 p.m.-midnight Wednesday-Sunday.
