Rosie’s Taco Shop, a new concept from the founders of Oscar’s Taco Shop, has opened its third Valley location – and first in the East Valley – on the southeast corner of McQueen and Guadalupe in Gilbert.
The menu: Nine kinds of tacos ($2.75-$3.50) and 20 different burritos ($6.75-$9.99), along with bowls, quesadillas, nachos, loaded fries, and more.
The history: Oscar and Rosie Ruiz opened Oscar’s Taco Shop in Franklin, Tenn., in 2007. There now are 10 locations in Tennessee and five in the Valley. The couple moved to Arizona and have launched three Rosie’s Taco Shops in the last four months.
Other Rosie’s locations: Avondale and Buckeye. A Scottsdale location is coming soon.
Open: 7 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
