By the Bucket opens 8th Valley location in just 16 months in Glendale

By the Bucket, the fast-growing takeout concept that sells spaghetti and meatballs by the bucket, has opened its eighth Valley location on the northwest corner of Greenway and 59th Avenue in Glendale.

The menu: 1.5-pound, 1-pound, and half-pound buckets of spaghetti with marinara and garlic bread. Meatballs are sold a la carte, and also available in meatball subs.

The history: Bret daCosta founded By the Bucket in Payson in 2018. The first licensed location opened in Ahwatukee in 2021.

Other Valley locations: Phoenix, Mesa (two), Gilbert, Ahwatukee, Surprise, and Anthem.

Coming soon: More Valley locations are in the works for Scottsdale (two), Mesa, Peoria, Apache Junction, and Laveen.

Open: 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon-6 p.m. Sunday.
