Hole 9 Yards, a sports bar billed as largest dedicated cornhole venue in the world, has opened in the former Goodwill space on the northwest corner of Gilbert and Guadalupe in Gilbert.
Attractions: Besides 26 lanes of cornhole, Hole 9 Yards offers a food menu and a full bar. There are 38 TVs (with the NFL Sunday Ticket package).
Availability: Much like bowling alleys, there will be league nights for cornhole players of all skill levels, plus tournaments. Individual lane rentals are available for walk-ins. Cornhole clinics for new players will be held monthly.
Open: 4-11 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, 3 p.m.-midnight Thursday, 9 a.m.-2 a.m. Friday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday.
