Texas-based Crawfish Cafe, a Vietnamese-Cajun fusion concept, has made its Arizona debut in front of the Mekong Supermarket on the southwest corner of Main and Dobson in west Mesa.

The history: Crawfish Cafe was founded in Houston’s Chinatown district in 2013 by Kiet Doung and now has four locations in Texas. Mesa is its first out-of-state location.

The menu: Boiled seafood bags, fried seafood platters, po’ boys, wok specialities, garlic noodle dishes, and wings. (Pictured: Calamari po’ boy.)

Free T-shirts: A grand-opening party from noon-10 p.m. Saturday will feature 20% off for all diners. The first 50 customers in line will get a free T-shirt.

Did you know? A second Arizona location is coming to Glendale in 2023.

Open: Noon-10 p.m. daily.
