The Rec Pizza & Detroit Eats, a popular Michigander gathering place that closed in June, has reopened under new ownership on the northwest corner of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Beardsley in Peoria.
The menu: Detroit-style rectangular pizzas, coney dogs, Better Made potato chips, Faygo pop, and other Michigan favorites.
No delivery: During the soft reopening, only dine-in and takeout are available.
Open: 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.
