AZ Strong Beer Festival is moving to Salt River Fields in Scottsdale for 2023

The Arizona Strong Beer Festival 🍺, the state’s premier craft beer event, will take place Saturday, Feb. 18, at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale – the third consecutive new venue for the annual event – the sponsoring Arizona Craft Brewers Guild announced.

The history: The 2022 festival, which is the centerpiece of Arizona Beer Week, moved to brand-new Bell Bank Park in far southeast Mesa after a decade at Steele Indian School Park in north central Phoenix.

The quote: ‘‘The guild is always going to explore the best way to showcase our state’s breweries and ensure the long-term financial stability in an environment where events are increasingly competitive,’’ says Rob Fullmer, the guild’s executive director. ‘‘We look forward to building upon a half-decade of experience working with the Salt River team and Arizona Barrels, Bottles & Brews. Our time at Bell Bank Park was the right fit at the time and through working with their team we know that we will be partnering with them in the future.’’

Tickets: Fullmer expects tickets 🎟 for the 2023 festival to go sale Nov. 12.
