Citing the difficult environment for restaurants in recent years, the Golden Pineapple Craft Lounge in Tempe has announced some major changes for the 2-year-old restaurant and bar.
The changes:
- Hours will now be 5-10 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday;
- Counter service will replace full service;
- The menu will be limited;
- Weekend brunch will be discontinued.
The history: The Golden Pineapple 🍍 opened in the former Quartiere space on the west side of Mill between Broadway and Southern in July 2020.
- Its sister concepts include The Beer Barn in Gilbert, The Sleepy Whale in Chandler, The Wandering Tortoise and The Theodore in Phoenix, and Hops on Birch in Flagstaff.
The quote: ‘‘Our original plans for the Golden Pineapple have detoured quite a bit, but we’re hoping to expand our menu once again and take the time and effort to do it with thoughtfulness,’’ the restaurant posted on social media.
