Breakfast Bitch, a popular 2-year-old restaurant at the Cambria Hotel in downtown Phoenix, has moved a couple of blocks to a larger space on the northeast corner of Roosevelt and Third Street that formerly was home to Golden Margarita.
Menu highlights: Boujee Bitch (lobster cakes), Bitch in a Blanket, Southern Bitch (chicken sandwich), Simple Bitch (eggs and hash browns) … you get the idea. (Pictured: Mardi Gras fried chicken sandwich.)
The history: Owner Tracii Show Hutsona has pleaded guilty to a federal fraud charge for stealing more than $1 million from Joumana Kidd, the former wife of retired NBA star Jason Kidd, and is awaiting sentencing.
- According to a 12 News report, Hutsona used some of the ill-gotten money to open the original Breakfast Bitch in San Diego.
